and the pitcher exemplifies this proverb clearly. in the story the crow was looking for water to drink as it was extremely thirsty.when it found a pitcher with some water,it tried to drink but could not at the beginning it,s beak was not long enough to each the water .it tried again and again but could not drink the water.at least he saw some pebble lying there.it got an idea to solve the problem.It dropped some pebble into the pitcher and the water level got raised and it could kill it,s thirst.That is why our firm will power and strong determination always lead us to the goal of our life.

the people of terai celebrate many festivass.different festivalare connected with different culture and religious signifivance.particulargods and goddess are worshipped in district festival. in chhath the sun is worshipped.
During this festival people worship the sun for their good health.it is said that a king was suffering from leprosy and T.B in the ancient time.A great learned man of that time advised the king to worshipping sun .the king did what he was advised.He worshipped the sun regularly for five years.then he got complete recovery.since then a particular festival ,which is called chhath has been celebratedworshipping the sun as a god.
The festivals of chhath is celebrated for two days.this festival begins from shukla panchami.on the first day a women cooks rice in milk in the evening .the rice is offered to the sun .the rest of rice is called prasad.it is distributed to all the members of the family by her.all of them have it as prasad with great respect to the sun.Thus the festival of chhata is celebrated worshipping the sun for good health.

This festival is especially celebrated at the academic institutes such as school and colleges.
students seem to be completely eager to manage the saraswati pooja.they collect some money and buy necessary things such as idol of saraswati', various type of sweets fruits and so on.school and colleges are decorated with flowers and variously colored papers.Especially in the terai of nepal students of schools celebrate it with great interested zeal . Daily teaching and learning activities are stopped for three or four days.
